Success for FV Bowlers at SDS National Lawn Bowling Championships 2019

Fraser Mathieson winning his 4th national titleForth Valley Disability Sport had ten bowlers competing in the Scottish Disability Sport National Lawn Bowling Championship in Aberdeen on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019.

The competition took the format of a round robin tournament with the winners of each table and the best runner up going on the play semi-finals and the finals.

Congratulation to Fraser Mathieson on his 4th victory in the male restricted physical disability category on Saturday. Two other member of the Forth Valley team achieved runner up places.

Tracy Black finishing running up in ambulant female sectionTracy Black finished runner up in the ambulant females with a physical disability category, while Ian Graham finished runner up in the B2 Visual Impairment category.

On Sunday Frank Maguire finished runner up in the Male learning disability category.

Well done to the other members of the Forth Valley team for their excellent performances including Robert McWilliams, Ryan Flynn and Craig Stirling in the learning disability category, Lizzie Jackson in the mixed wheelchair category, Don Paton and Fraser Dawson in the non-restricted physical disability category.
