ABOUT FVDS

Forth Valley Disability Sport is a charity organisation based in Stirling, Scotland, covering the three local authorities in the Forth Valley area - Stirling Council, Falkirk Council and Clackmannanshire Council. We also work with various sports organisations in the area and have a successful partnership with Scottish Disability Sport our National Governing Body.

As the name suggests, sport in the key feature of the organisation and we have a proud history of our athletes competing at grass roots, regional, national and international level. Our athletes take pride in their representation of the branch and are ambassadors to the organisation.

FVDS also provides a wide range of Physical Activities through our Get Out Get Active (GOGA) project. These opportunities include Walking, Cycling and Fun Fitness sessions.

FVDS continues to work with a range of partners and organisations including the NHS to make sure the opportunities FVDS provides are open to individuals with a physical, sensory or learning disability within the Forth Valley area
