Swimming

SDS National Senior LD Swimming Championships

Forth Valley Disability Sport took a team of 7 swimmers from the Enable Arion Swimming Clubs to the Scottish Disability Sport National Senior Championships for Swimmers with Learning Disabilities held at Inverness Leisure centre in Inverness on Saturday 28th May 2022.

The swimmers competed against teams from throughout Scotland coming home with an excellent medal tally. All members of the team competed in finals in their events.

20 Adults from the Forth Valley area came to Alloa East End Bowling Club in Alloa on Friday 27th May 2022 to compete in the 8th Annual FVDS Regional Lawn Bowling Championships for the opportunity to qualify for the Scottish Disability Sport National event in September.

Celebration and Friendships in Cardiff while Scotland storm through to take title!!!
The Learning Disability Indoor Bowls International Series Management team, athletes, coaches and volunteers descended on Cardiff this week. After the event being postponed, due to the covid 19 pandemic a total of three times, the LDIBIS event for the Munro Cup finally went ahead.

3 FVDS bowlers picked for Scotland

Three Forth Valley bowlers have been recently selected for Scotland in the upcoming Home Nation Championships to be held 22-24th April in Solihull, Birmingham.

Fraser Mathieson (Bridge of Allan BC, Stirling), Willie Nicol (Stirling BC) and Ian Graham (Stenhousemuir BC) will make the journey down south.
