Forth Valley Disability Sport held their AGM and Awards online over Zoom on Monday 21 February 2022. The purpose of the award ceremony is to reward and acknowledge the hard work and dedication of athletes, coaches and volunteers in 2021.
96 pupils from 8 primary and 1 secondary school from the Forth Valley area participated in the event.
Firpark Ski Centre is hosting a ‘Santa Ski’ on Sunday 14 November 2021 which is aimed at raising duns towards a bi-ski for the centre. This is a fun days our with ski and snowboarding instructions by qualified and friendly staff.
Forth Valley Disability Sport is currently seeking a team member to join the organisation as a GOGA Lead Officer. The GOGA progreamme is designed to identify, communicate and increase participation within disability sport with a focus on increasing female participation.
This 12-month course is delivered in partnership with Falkirk Football Community Foundation. The programme is designed for young people who have additional support needs and who wish to become more active whilst learning and developing their confidence (see details below). Riverside Powerchair FC based in the Riverside area of Stirling, are on a drive to bring new players or existing players in and around the Forth Valley area, to join and grow their club.

25 Adults from the Forth Valley area came to Alloa East End Bowling Club in Alloa on Friday 27th August 2021 to compete in the 7th Annual FVDS Regional Lawn Bowling Championships for the opportunity to qualify for the Scottish Disability Sport National event in Aberdeen in September.
The bowlers enjoyed a very competitive event with 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in each category received Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their performances.
