25 Adults from the Forth Valley area came to Alloa East End Bowling Club in Alloa on Friday 27th August 2021 to compete in the 7th Annual FVDS Regional Lawn Bowling Championships for the opportunity to qualify for the Scottish Disability Sport National event in Aberdeen in September.
The bowlers enjoyed a very competitive event with 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in each category received Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their performances.

Our Friday Camelon walk re launched on Friday 2nd April, leaving from Forth Valley Sensory Centre Garden at 11.30am, and we were delighted to see everyone back walking with us. We had a great turnout and the sun was shining! We hope we can welcome new walkers very soon therefore keep a look out for updates. While the overall objective of the ‘Nanairo Ekiden’ (7 colour Japanese relay) series is to teach participants about the 7 Olympic/Paralympic values, this event additionally focused on emphasizing the importance of International Women’s Day within sports, whilst bringing Scottish and Japanese culture together.
